SIEM REAP, CAMBODIA (03/25/2023) - In O-Kralanh in rural Siem Reap villagers worked together under the Participatory Approach to Safe Shelter Awareness (PASSA) framework led by Habitat Cambodia and were able to increase the living quality and livelihoods of many surrounding villlages. The PASSA group raised funds from villagers to construct a water gate on the river near their lands to control the flow of water allowing them to irrigate crops year round. Here, farmland which was once barren and dry during the dry season can now be farmed year round with irrigation.
